Highmark Walk, a Huge Success!
Walkers braved the rain Saturday May 13th to participate in the Highmark Walk for the Little Sisters. The walk raised over $8,000! Sister Mary John and Sister Georgia (both new to the Pittsburgh Home) were happy to attend along with some volunteers and staff.
Additionally, a strong contingent of walkers from Federated Hermes Inc. were present for the walk. This May would have been the 100th birthday of Richard Fisher, one of the founders of Federated and a past Advisory Board member and benefactor of the Little Sisters. It was wonderful for all to come together to honor his memory.
Prior to the walk on the North Shore, the Residents were encouraged to walk around our campus with the help of Sisters, volunteers and staff. Please see the photos below from both walks.
