Pittsburgh Sale to Benefit Ukraine
The Sisters, Residents, employees and volunteers all wanted to do something to benefit Ukraine. Mother Provincial asked each Home to raise funds for this cause as everything that the Homes collected would be matched by the Knights of Columbus. Quickly an in-house sale was put together composed of various items for everyone shop in the auditorium. A good will offering was accepted for the purchases—all to benefit Ukraine.
Additionally, the Residents made dog biscuits with the activities department one afternoon and sold bundles of dog treats at the front desk.
Altogether our Home raised nearly $4,000 to help those impacted by this war in Ukraine!
