Nothing beats the winter blues more than enjoying a nice warm bowl of soup on a frosty January day. The Residents of the Home did just that by not only enjoying delicious soup but first making it from scratch.
The broth was pre-made by a volunteer Tom Ranallo who loves to cook special treats for the Home. The vegetables were prepped by a kitchen full of Residents peeling carrots, celery, onions, and potatoes. Shredded chicken made the chicken and vegetable soup hearty and delicious! Homemade soup is good for soul.
