WDVE Radio personality, Sean McDowell, and Sr. Margaret Mary, Little Sisters of the Poor, are not a pair you would expect to see together. But when Sean interviewed Sr. Margaret, the two got along “tree-mendously!”
According to Sr. Margaret, Sean had really done his homework on the Little Sisters, which provided him with plenty of questions about their foundress, St. Jeanne Jugan; the history of the Little Sisters in Pittsburgh, including their three Homes; and the mission and ministry to serve the elderly poor. Sean also got personal and asked Sr. Margaret about her own vocation and experiences as a Little Sister.
Funny and informative, this hour-long interview will be edited down to fit into a half hour radio show on Mother’s Day. Please tune in to one of six FM stations that will air their entertaining conversation at 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 14.
