Halloween Fun
Halloween Season has been busy at our Home. This year we had an exciting outdoor car parade which included multiple vehicles, a bagpiper, police on motorcycles and three police officer on mounted horses. The Residents were dressed up in costumes watching from the sidewalk as the Sisters handed out treats to those walking in the parade.
We once again held a scarecrow competition. Each household and department worked to create some imaginative displays. The Resident Council judged the entries and handed out awards to all participants. Sacred Heart’s display of “Jack and the Bean Stalk” was quite impressive. Check out that one along with all the other creative scarecrows in the slideshow below.
To complete the trifecta of Fall Fun, the Home hosted an annual Halloween Dog show. Dogs of employees, volunteers and relatives were dressed in costumes in the auditorium to the delight of many!
