Residents, Volunteers, Employees, Sisters, and Friends came ready to Rock on Saturday July 28th when our home hosted our second annual Rock-A-Thon. Proceeds raised from this event are being directed toward purchasing a new handicapped accessible van for Resident transportation! We are happy to report that over $40,000 was raised, which is just enough for the van.
Elvis was in the Building as well performing to an auditorium full of rockers. A fun time was had by one and all! A big thank you to our friend Linda Harrison who raised the most in rocker sponsorships. Her friends and family sponsored Linda at $1,000 for four hours of rocking. Way to go! Thank you to all who helped make our second annual Rock-A-Thon a success. We hope you’ll join us again next year.
