A Presidential Visit of Sorts

  • March 11, 2013

“Is that Abe Lincoln?” asked a Resident the day after President’s Day. Sure enough it was him, well it was actually Rick Miller a local Lincoln re-enactor. “Abe” spent nearly the entire day at the home. First, having lunch with the apartment Residents then hosting a meet-n-greet question and answer session in the auditorium. Rick rarely breaks character which made the visit even more interesting. All the Residents seemed to enjoy looking back at an interesting time in our nation’s history. It was a fitting way to spend the afternoon of President’s day.
