The Home recently celebrated the retirement of seven longtime employees over the last two years. It was a special occasion to gather and recognize their contributions to the mission of the Little Sisters of the Poor by their efforts as employees and as members of the Little Sisters family.
Nurse Mary Ann Zientara, Social Services Director Jan Carr, Certified Nursing Assistant Joe Kline, Receptionists Alice Steigerwald & Linda Sanfilippo, Household Aide Charlene McQuillan and Laundry Employee Mary Ann Exler gathered with their families, Little Sisters and current employees of the Home for the party. Their contributions were countless and encompassed 195 years of service! There was no task too small or large that these retirees did not embrace for the comfort of our Residents.
On behalf of Mother Judith, the Sisters, co-workers and most importantly the Residents we thank all these retirees for their dedication, kindness and commitment. We wish you all the very best and are counting on you to occasionally come visit us.
