Teamster Motorcycle Ride
For over 10 years the Teamster Motorcycle Club of Pittsburgh has been organizing a bike ride to benefit the Little Sisters. Every year the ride grows larger and larger. This July there was a wonderful turn out with nearly $2,500 was raised for the Home. The best part of the ride is hearing the motorcycles heading toward the Home where they are greeted by Residents and Little Sisters alike waving American flags.
The police escort provided a special treat for all by performing “bike tricks” in the parking lot. All of the participants were treated to picnic lunch in the auditorium and adjoining porch. This year there were a few old fashioned cars that showed up and helped the Residents to reminisce about their younger days.
Thank you Teamsters for keeping up this fun summer tradition to benefit our Residents!
