Spaghetti for Breakfast

Spaghetti for Breakfast

On a recent September morning thousands gathered in downtown Pittsburgh’s Heinz Hall Plaza for a unique event—the KDKA Spaghetti Breakfast. Once again the Little Sisters were invited to collect canned goods and monetary donations from the public as dishes of spaghetti, sausage, and meatballs were handed out free to attendees. It was a record breaking year for meals served and the Sisters were please to part of this tradition that began, with long time radio host and friend of the Sisters John Cigna, 35 years ago.

Sister Margaret even had the opportunity to be interviewed by Larry Richert and John Shumway alongside Jimmy Krenn. A fantastic day was had by all!

Thank you KDKA for remembering John Cigna every year with this wonderful Pittsburgh event!
