Halloween is for the Dogs!
An annual tradition here at the Home is the Dog Parade on Halloween. This year was no different as dogs of employees, volunteers, and Resident family members arrived in costume to parade across the auditorium stage. The Residents loved seeing the pooches as Activities Director Karen Jasko read a quick bio about each pup.
After the introductions the leashed dogs walked through the audience for a quick pet and hello with the Residents. The largest dog in attendance was Grover, the Great Dane of employee Bob Anthony, and the best dressed was nurse Cindy Woollett’s pup that arrived in costume as a rock star with a guitar!
During the dog parade, the Residents had a sing along of Halloween songs.
It was a ter-ruff-ic way to spend Halloween.
