Christmas Blessings
We were truly blessed with a wonderful Christmas Season! The Residents enjoyed time with family who were able to visit in-person. We were able to bring the households together for some small celebrations and entertainment. It was a joyous time for all!
Here are some photos from our happenings over the last month of 2021! The photos feature our “Ugly Sweater Contest”, the outside Christmas lights, presents for Residents being delivered, donors bringing meat to our Meat Drop, canned goods collection deliveries, and even a photo of the hay the Residents collected for Jesus’s crib. Each straw of hay had a gift for Jesus written on it; whether it was someone’s good deed or a bad habit they were going to give up. These pieces of hay were collected and placed in the crib throughout Advent as we prepared for Jesus’s birth. Each “gift” slowly built a comfortable bed for the newborn King! It was a wonderful reminder of the “Reason for the Season.”
