The weekend of October 26th and 27th Friends, Residents and Volunteers were invited to “An Evening of Fine Art” at the Little Sisters home. Walt Edelman, a leading New York City art dealer, educator and appraiser, was on hand to display hundreds of exclusive museum quality originals from old masters to contemporary artists. Maser Galleries, a local art gallery, offered a variety of work from local artists to international masters for purchase. Guests were treated to a special Mass celebrated by Bishop David Zubik followed by hors d’oeurves and wine during the art presentation. A portion of all sales from the evening benefited the Little Sisters of the Poor and the elderly Residents in their care. Thank you to those who attended and helped us to raise nearly $10,000!
